4th of July: Celebrating with a Touch of Patriotism

This 4th of July, we celebrated Independence Day with a fantastic draw for a patriotic afghan, lovingly handcrafted by Carol Dove. This beautifully woven piece, full of warmth and symbolism, helped us raise almost $1,000. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Carol for her creative contribution, which will directly help further our cause.
Upcoming Plans:
As we conclude our site preparation and move toward construction, we’re thrilled to share our upcoming plans for Mishawaka Troop Town:
“Building from the strong foundation laid by the community’s support comes a space encapsulating unity, comfort, and security. We envision the town as a beacon of hope and help, equipped with various amenities catering to the diverse needs of our troops. The construction will involve erecting community spaces for social interaction, comfortable living quarters for rest, and dedicated counseling and support services areas. We are working diligently with architects, engineers, and community planners to ensure that every aspect of the town reflects the spirit of camaraderie and resilience that our troops embody. This is a labor of love for all of us, and we’re excited to bring this vision to life with your continued support.”
